Monster Jam at Alamodome - Know Before You Go!

Fans attending should plan ahead and arrive early

SAN ANTONIO (January 21, 2025) — The hugely popular Monster Jam takes over the Alamodome this weekend, highlighting what will be a busy two-day period in and around downtown San Antonio. The shows begin at 7 p.m. on Saturday and 3 p.m. on Sunday.

The much-anticipated events, which feature a dozen drivers operating Monster Jam’s most iconic trucks, occur at the same time as WWE’s Saturday Night Main Event at the Frost Bank Center on Saturday at 6:30 and the “Ain’t Too Proud: The Life and Times of The Temptations” concerts at the Tobin Center for the Performing Arts on Saturday at 8 p.m. and Sunday at 2 p.m. and 8 p.m. Also Saturday night at 8, legendary soul singer Lee Fields performs at the Carver Community Cultural Center

Attendees are urged to plan accordingly for possible traffic and parking complications.

As parking at the Alamodome is limited, fans are encouraged to arrive downtown early or take advantage of VIA Metropolitan Transit’s Park & Ride, ride-share or the option to reserve nearby off-site parking through ParkWhiz from Flash. ParkWhiz allows Alamodome guests to book and prepay for parking online at multiple downtown locations through the “Know Before You Go” section of www.Alamodome.com and through Ticketmaster at checkout.

The VIA Park & Ride option takes place to and from VIA’s Crossroads (151 Crossroads Blvd., 78201) location. Cost for the service, which begins at 5 p.m. on Saturday and 1 p.m. on Sunday, is $1.30 each way, with discounts for children, students, active-duty military and seniors. Parking at Crossroads is free. For information, visit www.viainfo.net/park-ride-events

Monster Jam will feature 12 drivers who will operate the show’s famous trucks, like Grave Digger, Megalodon, Zombie, Avenger and Vendetta. Attendees also will have the chance to get autographs and take photos with drivers through a pre-show "Pit Party" event as well as post-event meet-and-greets. For more information, visit www.Alamodome.com
